DISCOVERY NETWORKS LATIN AMERICA/U.S. HISPANIC AND BATANGA MEDIA– ONE OF THE LARGEST DIGITAL PUBLISHERS IN THE WORLD – SIGN COMMERCIAL AGREEMENT

Discovery Networks Latin America/U.S. Hispanic (DLA/USH), a division of Discovery Communications, the world’s #1 pay-TV programmer, and Batanga Media, the largest lifestyle digital publisher for the U.S. Hispanic market, Latin America, and Brazil, announced today they have signed a commercial agreement. This alliance will allow both companies to mutually benefit from content affinities and to further increase their presence and reach in the Latin American market.

The agreement will leverage Discovery’s branded video production expertise, and Batanga Media’s distribution, offering their extensive communities to make their deals more robust. Said branded video productions will be complemented by Batanga Media’s content and distributed among its digital properties reaching over 150M unique users per month across the Batanga, iMujer, Vix and BolsadeMulher properties and social channels.

In this first phase of the partnership, the commercial focus will be in Colombia and Miami, for the Pan Regional market.
